The WEC Welding Institute is honored to partner with several other organizations and institutions in the welding industry. First, we’re one of four affiliate companies along with Carolina Energy Solutions, PCI Energy Services, and WEC Machining Equipment (producer of Aggressive Equipment) that compose WEC Welding and Machining LLC, that are a part of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC.
Welded together, we offer industry, utilities, and municipalities a full range of services, supplies, and expert knowledge in fossil, hydropower, nuclear and other energy sources.
Carolina Energy Solutions
In 1996, Carolina Energy Solutions was founded to meet the need for a compact, fast track company able to handle both stand alone installations and compliment the larger electric power companies with their endeavors. Their expertise is to work on new, retro-fit, or maintenance projects. They have offices and shop facilities in Rock Hill, SC.
PCI Energy Services
PCI Energy Services is the premier OEM machining and welding resource for the nuclear power industry. Renowned for providing planned critical path outage welding and tooling services, PCI can respond on short notice to emerging machining and welding problems at operating plants and in the field. PCI offers quality solutions integrated with the engineering and inspection capabilities of the rest of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC.
