Program
WEC Welding Institute offers a very special curriculum to those who want to learn a new profession or enhance their current skills.
Utilizing the school’s welding booths and state-of-the-art equipment, all of our students, whatever their level, have the opportunity to learn through practice. In fact, for every 8 hours a student spends in the classroom at WEC Welding Institute, he or she spends 32 hours getting hands-on experience and the expertise that can only come from physically doing the job.
The state-of-the-art coursework covers such key areas as weld symbols, polarities, gases, purging techniques, and standard construction practices, among other topics. And it also includes classes in:
- Entry-level rigging and safe practices.
- Limited access welding, including boiler tube simulator.
- Scaffold and safety device training.
